Monthly Mending & Sewing Social at The Village

Image showing tools used for visible mending

On the last Thursday of each month, I hold a Mending & Sewing Social at The Village here in Market Harborough.

You can come along with your worn, damaged clothes and I'll show you some simple techniques to mend them, so you can continue to wear them.  I have my mending supplies and fabric scraps with me so you don't have to bring anything along, just your willingness to learn!

Here are just a few images showing some past mends.

If you don't have anything to mend, just come along with a hand sewing project and spend an evening doing some mindful sewing with a relaxed and friendly group of people.

The Village has a community cafe where you can also get food, cakes and drinks so you can enjoy your evening.  If you've never been to The Village before, we're on St Mary's Road, next to Kwikfit and opposite the chip shop!

Follow me on Instagram to see when my next Mending & Sewing Social will be.
